"10 years of unnecessary treatment for angina "

About: treatment that was not needed

(as the patient),

I went to my Dr. with mild chest pains. They put me on ECG, and I was told by two Drs that I was suffering with angina. I was put on tablets and spray. I was going back for regular checkups and blood tests for 10 years. It was mentioned to me, by a relative who has got heart problems, to ask the Dr about putting you on treadmill in hospital to see if you have angina. When I did this, it turned out my heart was in perfect health and the treatment was stopped. I am really annoyed to have been taken tablets for ten years, when I didn’t need them. Just think about the cost to NHS on treatment that was not needed in first place.
