"Too busy"

About: Barnet Hospital

My son had an accident playing football and hurt his arm. We went to Barnet Hospital and were seen relatively quickly. After x-rays it was confirmed that my son broke a bone in his elbow but we were told that they could not put a cast on his arm as they were "fully booked" until the following Monday, over a week! So after offering us a sling made of sponge? they sent us on our way. My son is in a lot of pain and now has to live with his broken elbow without a cast for over a week.
