"admission onto ward 20"

I was admitted onto the day ward. ward 20 on the 4th February 2014. this was for an open inguinal Hernia repair (male). I was me by my nurse for the day, and. made to feel very welcome The procedure was explained when my surgeon made his visit. I was then visited by the anaesthetist and his procedure was explained to me. The ward was very clean. The operation went very well, and I could not have been better looked after. The only problem I think could be looked into is the fact that someone as in my case over 70 years of age, could probably be kept overnight, as the following day I became very ill at home, my blood pressure dropped dramatically and I did nearly pass out. however id did come round and was fine afterwards, but would have been happier if I had been in the hospital. But as far as that goes I was very happy with the service. well done Airedale.
