Many thanks for your feedback - apologies that it's taken me longer to respond to you than I would like but there seems to have been a failure over the last week or so to notify us of posts placed on the NHS choices website? Sorry.

I am delighted that everyone on the surgical team allowed you to feel so well looked after. We know that it's not just the technical expertise in theatre that matter to our patients and that kindness and compassion are at the heart of excellent care. As someone who has experienced the discomfort of carpal tunnel syndrome, I do hope you are recovering well after surgery and have had some relief from the pain.
