A&E were very good. Care on the Orthopaedic ward was dreadful no monitoring of food or liquid intake following surgery resulting in dehydration. Also adverse reaction to painkillers not picked up by staff, resulting in the patient needing two blood transfusions and two injections to counteract the opiates in the blood stream. On discharge the incorrect information was contained in the details passed onto the rehabilitation centre.
