"Successful robotic prostatectomy"

Once I had been told that I had Prostate Cancer I chose Wexham Park Hospital, even though I live in Birmingham, because of its reputation for care and because of its success in terms of robotic surgery. I found the doctors and nurses in the clinics, during the weeks, before the operation very helpful and friendly. On the day of the operation the nurses and anaesthetist were again friendly and calming helping reduce any anxiety and answering any questions I put to them. The care and skill of the surgeon was outstanding and I feel very fortunate to have undergone the operation at this hospital. After the operation the care from the friendly nurses continued so when I left the hospital I felt confident enough to look after myself to recover as fast as possible.
