"nothing"

About: North Middlesex Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

nothing

What could be improved

With all the money being spent on this hosptal it might be a good idea to train their staff in the art of human kindness. Patients are treated as a burdon, and any request such as a glass of water, is treated as something the patient must wait in line for, when it is delivered it is practically thrown onto the table. Smiles are a thing of the past, and nurses verbally insult patients within ear-shot of everyone. There is very little communication between doctors, nurses and departments, Notes constantly go missing, sometimes never to be seen again.

Anything else?

The cleaning cannot be called cleaning as most of us would like to see it, just the bare necessities are done by surly cleaners, who very obviously would rather be somewhere else. During the summer the heat in the tower block is intolerable. Broken blinds at the windows mean patients need to wear sunglasses in bed. The food also leaves a lot to be desired, and if medication is meant to be given with or just after food, the nurses ignore this and give out meds when they see fit.
