"Knee replacement surgery at QMC"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was a patient at the Queen's Medical Centre in August of this year for knee replacement surgery. Plenty of care and attention was shown to me by the staff. The nurses were well presented in their uniforms. Cleanliness and hygiene was always good. There was a good choice of food from the menu, though it wasn't always hot when served to us.

More information should be given regarding aftercare. Also the time waiting for prescriptions on the day of discharge was excessively long.

Dear Handy910

I was pleased to hear about the care you received at Nottingham University Hospital following your knee surgery.

I will be sure to pass on your comments to my colleagues there.

Kindest regards

Charlotte
