"Good care on Day Unit at Eastwood hospital"

I was a patient at the Eastwood Day Hospital in Newark for the removal of a cataract. I was most impressed by the kindness and consideration shown to me by all stay. Also, the cleanliness of the Day Unit is a credit to the hospital.

However, car parking is always a concern - the 1-4 hour parking band is excessive if you are just over the hour, Some of my visits have even been under the hour, yet I have still had to pay for 1-4 hours just to be safe.
