"Friendly staff at QMC Endoscopy Unit"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / General medicine

(as the patient),

I was a patient at the Queen's Medical Centre's Endoscopy Unit last month. The staff were very friendly and helped to put me at ease. I was offered a cup of tea and a sandwich after the procedure - after 24 hours without eating, this was extremely welcome!

However, the pre-procedure pack did not arrive in the post until the day before and it should have arrived much earlier in order for me to correctly read and follow all of the instructions given.

Nevertheless, thank you to the Endoscopy nurses and staff, and also to Dr Simpson (colorectal registrar) for his caring manner and time spent explaining things to me.
