I was a patient on ward 22 at the Barnsley District General hospital for the treatment of alcohol abuse and depression. I was most impressed by the caring attitude and professionalism of all of the staff on the ward. We are very lucky to have the NHS and, like many things in life, I believe that it is often taken for granted.
