About: The James Cook University Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

I thought that the health care given to my relative was very good.

What could be improved

One of the ancillary staff - when I visited took a jug of water from one old lady's table and said "I'll bring you a new jug of water" and then when they turned their back on the woman said quite loudly (at least audible to me in the next cubicle) "not that you've drunk any of this". Not only did it sound very disrespectful, I was concerned that my relative would be treated like this. It's really not on when people make snide comments about the vulnerable.
