"Heart attack"

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford)

I had the misfortune to suffer a heart attack on 28th March 2013. Following prompt and excellent on the spot emergency treatment by our fantastic Ambulance Service, they rushed me to WHH where the Cardiac Team were ready and waiting to treat me. They truly brilliant. The perfect synchronicity between the ambulance service and the Cardiac Team saved my life. The ward staff were also kind, helpful, friendly and informative. I was admitted on a Thursday and home by Sunday. In conclusion, I don't recommend the heart attack, but if you have one, the Kent Ambulance Service, the entire Cardiac Team and the aftercare ward team at the William Harvey Hospital are just the ticket.

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with feedback, much appreciated by our staff. We are very proud of our cardiac team and the joint working with the ambulance service and cardiologists from a cross kent. I am so glad that we were able to support you during a stressful time.
