"Delay in appointment at outpatients and DIY advice"

About: University Hospital Aintree

Seen at the Liver clinic beginning of October following abdominal screening (history of breast cancer) advised by letter would be reviewed in clinic 3 to 4 months. No appointment received and contacted secretary to be told no appointments left for February - next availability would be sometime in March and that I would have to ring appointments myself. Surely this should have been picked up by the Secretariat following my last visit?
