"A & E Service"

About: Good Hope Hospital

I visited A & E in the early hours of Sunday morning, and after waiting over an hour (even though I was the only person waiting in A & E) was seen by triage for 2 mins and asked to wait for a further 1/2 hour which I did. Upon treatment I was given a hospital prescription. I was told to come back to the hospital pharmacy later that day between 10am and 1pm which I did only only to find a closed sign on the pharmacy door. I then went back to A & E and asked what to do only to be told rather abruptly to come back on Monday when they were open - not helpful when still in extreme pain. I have since booked to see my own GP as it looks as if even the diagnosis was incorrect.
