"So well treated"

About: St Helier Hospital

Thank you to all the staff in A&E who treated me over two very rough evening with my ongoing kidney disorder. Special thanks to two of the nurses who made my stay dignified, friendly and always had a smile. Most thanks must go to the registrar. His care of me was exemplary, I was involved in all the decisions about my care and treatment. All the team made a frightening and painful situation less stressful and one felt that care was always there. My only issue was I really didn't expect the porter to give me medical advice.

Thank you for your feedback. It is great to hear your care was 'exemplary' - and that you felt care was always there. You are right to take issue with the porter - but presumably you realised to not take the well-intended advice of the porter. We will remind them to stick to what they do best - portering!
