my wife was admitted to Ward 12 on Boxing Day..After a few weeks of excellent treatment it was apparent that she would be unable to recover fully.A plan to get her home had to be stopped as she became poorly over a weekend. After a further week of excellent treatment the Medical Staff decided they would try to get her home to spend her final days with the family. The people involved in the discharge could only be described as phenonimal. The Doctors,,Nurses, Occupational Therapy all worked flat out to ensure our home was ready to receive my wife. A hospital bed, oxygen, nursing care and homecare services was arranged in a few hours. I will never forget the look on my wifes face when she entered her own home. . These efforts by the hospital enabled us all to have the most amazing four days together and for this I will be eternally grateful.
