"Treatment and Care"

About: Dorset County Hospital

I should like to express my gratitude for the excellent care and treatment that I received during my recent sray in Dorsert County Hospital. All the Staff were very caring, especially to elderly, confused patients..The treatment was excellent and I am now fully recovered. The food was very good and the wards were cleaned regularly and thoroughly. The only problem was with visitors, many of whom did not bother to sanitise their hands when they entered the hospital, even though there was an outbreak of norovirus in four of the wards.

Thank you for such lovely feedback I will make sure the Cardiology, housekeeping and catering teams hear how much you appreciated the services they provided. I am sorry to read that some visitors were not always using the hand gel provided; I will raise this with the ward sisters to remind their staff of the importance of visitors sanitising their hands. I am very grateful to you for taking the time to write your review and hope you are recovering well. Kind regards, Alison Tong, Director of Nursing, Dorset County Hospital
