"Waiting for a appointment"

I saw my GP in August 2013. He has referred me to Orthopaedies which he has done a referal letter to them. He than gave me a choose a book appointment, which I did and got a appointment on 31 December 2013. Than i received a letter stating that this app has been cancelled, than i arrange for another appointment which was on 18 February 2014. Well i have received a letter stating this appointment is cancelled and now i have got a appointment for 24 of March 2014. So since August 2013 to March 2014 it will be nearly 8 months that i have been waiting for an appointment. who knows even this appointment will be cancelled so what will happen? the pain of my both feet is getting worse by the day.
