"Opthalmology at Doncaster - good service - and Choose and Book is great too! "

I was referred through Choose and Book to the Ophthalmology Dept at DRI to have a cyst removed from an eyelid. The appointment was for 6 weeks hence which I thought reasaonable. The referral was to a general ophthalmology clinic but it was later suggested that I needed to go to an eyelid clinic. With my booking reference number I was able to ring up and change the appointment to the correct clinic for the following Monday, ie four days later!

The 9.00am appointment was kept and I received very efficient service. The cyst needed removing and I was offered for it to be done immediately, an offer I accepted. The process was uncomfortable and, apart from the initial injection into the eyelid, not painful. I can not fault the whole process and was walking out of the clinic after an hour. What service!

Fortunately I had read the appointment letter fully and realised that I would not be able to drive after the treatment so I had left my car on a street with free parking for later collection. I did not want to pay for a full days parking at the hospital.
