About: Tameside General Hospital

I cannot fault the care I have received at tameside hospital. I went into early labour with my twin girls at 20weeks. They sadly did not survive, but the care and compassion from staff shown to me and my family was just brilliant. The staff have gone above and beyond for us, and still continue to do so with the post natal care.

Thank you for taking the time to post such lovely comments at which must be also a sad time for yourself. If the maternity services can be of more support to you and your family please do not hesitate to contact either the maternity unit direct or email supervisorsofmidwives@tgh.nhs.uk

Kind regards,

John Goodenough

Director of Nursing

’Would you like to help the hospital to improve its services further? We are currently looking for patients and carers to become involved in a development called “Patient Stories”. We want to know more about our services from the point of view of those who received them – what was good, bad, what could be improved, what should be changed.
