Thank you for writing in with your kind comments about the Maternity Department at Macclesfield Hospital. We are delighted to read that despite having a difficult birth, your experience was a positive one. Our Maternity Department recently came out as one of the best in the country in a national survey, particularly for care during labour and for not leaving new mums alone. We are also pleased that you felt the department was clean. We take hygiene very seriously at the Trust and carry out monthly audits on ward cleanliness. Your feedback will be passed on to the staff on the Maternity Unit.
