Very helpful when an injury seems to be too minor to go to A&E yet urgent enough to wait till the next available appointment with your local GP practice. I took my 4y.o wiht a splinter in his hand and he was seen immediately. The nurse was very efficient and friendly. And there was no any form-filing or other bureaucratic procedures as all the information about my son had already been in their data base and I only had to tell them the name. I now have the address pined up above my desk, just in case. Many thanks!

Thank you for letting us know about your good experience in the Minor Injury Unit and we were very pleased that we were able to help and not have to send you to the acute hospital for the treatment to your child. we as a Trust take all comments received about our services, seriously, and it is very pleasing when positive comments are received.
