"friendly helpful staff"

My husband had an outpatients appointment Today at Southlands hospital for cycoscopy (forgive spelling). He usually attends Worthing hospital so we were a bit apprehensive about going to Southlands. On arrival I found the hospital to be in need of updating and redecorating but it was clean. However, within minutes I warmed to the place. The staff are truly friendly, helpful and above all else cheerful. It felt like a cottage hospital and even the other people in the waiting room were chatty. Overall a pleasant experience. The woman volunteer in the shop was chatty and friendly and the clerk who dealt with us too. My husband said the nurse was very nice and the doctor made the procedure stress free.
