About: Heartlands Hospital

Sunday evening I experienced severe angina pains at home in Tamworth phoned 999 and paramedic in attendance within minutes having regard to previous history taken by ambulance direct to Heartlands. Within 2 hours of onset of pain had stent fitted and back on to ward 6! Treatment, aftercare consideration thoughout my stay absolutely first class. I was discharged and back home in less than 24 hours from my 999 call. Grateful thanks to all the team involved. Already a huge improvement - reduced breathlessness and no chest pain. Brilliant. Many thanks for your kind email, it is really pleasing to hear about your experience at Heartlands Hospital on ward 6. It is one of our better wards I would say - the staff are excellent and committed. I have forward your email to the Senior Sister and Head Nurse.
