"Swift treatment in the urgent care centre"

About: Chase Farm Hospital

I never felt that it was a good idea to scrap the A&E services at Chase Farm Hospital and I am pleased that at least still retains the Urgent Care Centre. I had to visit around mid day during the week as I had cut my hand open on a glass that broke while washing up. I was in and out within an hour and a half which I thought was excellent. Within that time I had an x-ray, stitches, a bandage and collected a prescription from the pharmacy! My hand was bleeding very heavily and luckily I was able to get a lift to Chase Farm as I could not drive, but had the urgent care centre not been there I would have had to travel to North Middlesex hospital which would have taken longer and would have meant I was left bleeding for longer. I have heard rumours that the Urgent Care Centre will be closed, which I must say would, in my opinion, be a bad idea. Staff were nice as well.

Many thanks for leaving your feedback regarding your positive experience about the Urgent Care Centre located at Chase Harm Hospital. I will now share your praise with the senior management to cascade to the team. With regards to the rumour that the Urgent Care Centre will be closed this is not true.
