"Conflicting advice from A&E and GP"

About: Gilbert Bain Hospital / Accident & emergency

(as the patient),

I limp into the casualty department at the Gilbert Gain Hospital with an injury. I tell a nurse what I had done and what is sore. I do not get an examination from her but I do get told "it is a matter for your GP".

A few days later I get an examination from a GP. The GP tells me to go back to casualty, the GP phones the casualty department to tell them " deal with this patient".

My injury warranted an operation to fix/sort out.
