"Much better than expected visit to A&E for a sore..."

It was my first visit to A&E last night and I was expecting overcrowding/long waiting times and rushed consultation, due to the general bad press that A&E tends to get. However, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, and the waiting time was short. Both the nurse and the doctor I saw were friendly, very helpful and reassuring and made the whole experience pleasant. I have massive respect for these people working antisocial hours in a really tough job. Thanks for sorting my eye out and being so nice about it.
