Had to attend for a barium dye swallow test, every part of the hospital I walked through to get to radiology was clean, and heard nobody complaining. Upon arriving at the radiology reception, I was dealt with within 60 seconds and directed to the right place for my test. A porter was very helpful in pointing out where the gowns were to change into, and told me where to change for the test. The only negative I can give is the waiting time, I was called in for my test 10 to 15 minutes after the allotted time. The consultant radiologist and her three assistants were very nice and helpful. At no point throughout the test did I feel uncomfortable. I dare say I am the envy of many men, being in a room on my own with 4 women! The test went without a hitch, they kept me informed throughout of what they were doing and made sure I was completely comfortable during the test. They also gave me a cup of water to wash down the remaining barium dye shake and a wet wipe afterwards to clean my mouth and lips, and also my nose.
"Excellent hospital"
