Staff demonstrated a commitment to wanting to deliver high standards of care. However admission through the Same Day Admission Unit was not pleasant or stress free as it was far too crowded.
The theatre team was excellent throughout a highly professional, relaxed team with good morale. Earsham Ward was well-appointed and clean.
Throughout my stay I had a modern electronic controlled bed which was very comfortable and empowered me.
Staffing levels on the ward were very low overnight with just one Staff Nurse. Organisation during the day appeared fractured and chaotic though there were a lot of nonprofessional nursing staff.
