What I liked

..the way I was treated by my midwife. I chose to have my second child at Durham due to a bad experience at another local hospital when I had my first child, and my midwife was absolutely fantastic. This was my first natural birth, as my eldest child was born by emergency section, and my midwife was wonderful, talking my through everything, and was patient and reassuring throughout - they made the whole experience even more special, and added the personal touch when they returned after the end of their shift to give me a kiss and hug and congratulate me one more time. Any woman who has this midwife looking after them is so lucky, especially if they have them from start to finish, like I did.
