"Cardio rehabilitation service"

Having had a triple heart bypass in sept 2013 I was invited to join the cardio rehab exercise class at Whitcliffe Mount Sports Centre. Being relatively young (well 46 !) and what I thought relatively fit my condition was the last thing I expected to have! I went along I suppose with the thought that it was just for old folk but how wrong I was. I have to say that I had the best time and met some lovely people, some I actually knew and had not seen for years! It was great just to talk to other people who had the same aches and pains as you and set your mind at ease. The nurses and physios were lovely and very professional, the exercises are set so you build up your strength and stamina at your own pace and you are constantly assessed by the staff. They definitely work and I felt so much better after the 6 weeks of classes. I can't praise the nurses and physios enough the classes became the highlight of my week and now Iam back at work I really miss them. Keep up the great work!
