What I liked
On the 7th Sept 08 I was brought into the hospital as an emergency admission suffering from gynaelogical problems. I was transferred onto Ward 2, Bedroom 3. Throughout my stay I was looked after very well by the nursing staff and doctors both in A & E and on Ward 2. The nursing staff on the Ward showed me kindness and concern and nothing was too much trouble for them.
They also managed my pain level very well and made sure I was comfortable. They were approachable and friendly and the service I received was of a high quality. I was discharged on the 9th and I am due to have minor surgery in the future.
I would like to say it makes all the difference (when you are not well) to be treated in the right way. I have always been impressed with the level of care that MDGH has offered from Consultant to Nursing staff.
I base this on the fact I have now been admitted twice as a patient for the same complaint since 2003, in 2003 I had major surgery. I was on Ward 2 in 2003.
Thankyou for your care.
What could be improved
Nothing.
Anything else?
