"Disappointment"

Admitted as emergency, can't fault paramedics who attended and took father to hospital. A/E ok but no one introduced themselves or washed their hands. Assessment unit things were not good, no one introduced themselves, placed in a mixed bay, no one washed their hands. Sent home as told it was safer!! Had to remind them to give tablets back, and when asked which Consultant would be following up, gave two names, one a chest dr, one a gastro doctor - and then on discharge letter said GP would Up to now was impressed with Hinchingbrooke but disinterested nursing staff who couldn't even wash their hands - will be asking Dr to send elsewhere for follow up
