"Sent home with no treatment"

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

I am absolutely disgusted by the lack of treatment and care I received when visiting a n e. I was taken to this hospital via ambulance after being in a lot of pain and bleeding for over a month. The a n e staff said there is nothing we can do for you. I suffer with high blood pressure and they didn't check that or anything else. They told me someone would be in touch the following day with an emergency scan for me. I never received that call. They didn't even offer me any pain relief. I will never visit this hospital again. I would warn anyone away from there!

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comment. A&E is not always the right place to receive your treatment unless you have an accident or emergency. The NHS 111 number can be an easier way for you to access your local NHS services. If you would like me to look into this further, I will require more information from you. Please contact me through our PALS team on 01708 435 454 or email PALS@bhrhospitals.nhs.uk so this can be looked into thoroughly. Yours sincerely Flo Panel-Coates Director of Nursing
