"Visiting UCLH reproductive medicine unit"

About: University College Hospital Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Wing / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I have been a patient at the Reproductive Medicine Unit for a few years.

While the medical care appears good and the doctors are fine, there are often people sitting in on the appointments. I believe these may be students but I've never been told. They don't introduce themselves, and the doctors don't say who they are.

All medical appointments are personal - appointments about fertility are even more sensitive. It would be great if the staff at UCLH could pay more attention to introducing whoever is in the room to the patient - and giving us the option of saying we don't want them there.
