"radiology department"

As my gp referred to this hospital for urgent x ray, which never received for 4days,Gp personally asked me to check only if they have sent the report or not, the receptionist of radiology department was very rude, though I was telling her I have not called for the results, she was not ready to listen. I was wondering how such people are allowed to work in National Health Services, where they don't have respect to patients.
