"Pleased with speed from appointment to receiving TRAQS referral"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

Pleased with speed from doctor appointment to receiving TRAQS referral letter.

Saw Dr Camm in November, she referred me to TRAQS. Received letter from TRAQS two days later. This told me that I was to be assessed at Wellington Road Endoscopy Clinic, Newport. Received appointment letter from Wellington.

In December, went on walk to local shop and on return was affected by stomach churning and was sick. This appeared to be caused by breathlessness and not by anything I had eaten. More stomach churning, tried to vomit but nothing came up.

Had Endoscopy and have a duodenal ulcer. Now have to make an appointment to see my own doctor who will prescribe appropriate medicine. Saw Dr Camm who prescribed some tablets to reduce the acid in the stomach. She told me that the results of the biopsy would be some time coming.
