We needed the doctor to sign a referred form for our health care provider (private treatment).
When I went to collect it I was told it was £15. I think we should have been warned in advance that there was a cost involved.
Luckily, I had the money with me, but it would have been very annoying if I hadn’t, as I made a special journey to collect the form.
Also, we might have chosen to wait for NHS treatment if we’d known about this extra cost as it was for physiotherapy and we already had to pay £50 per session to the trust.
The service is normally good but I just felt we should have been told when we took the form in.
