"Ward 17"

Having experienced this ward several times over the last year I do feel things could be better. The nursing staff are excellent but there is not enough of them, children are left for hours with no one coming to check on them or even coming into the ward. Support staff on the ward are caring and approachable nothing is too much trouble. Some of the consultants are rude and disrespectful, dont listen to either the child or the parent. They seem intent on getting you out of the hospital as quickly as possible even if your child is not well enough to go home.
