"First visit - Gastroscopy"

This was my first visit here, but not my first gastroscopy. I was very surprised and pleased at the cleanliness of the place and the kindness and pleasantness of the staff - not things that I've really come across before in all my trips to hospitals/medical centres over the years. The car parking was great - free and lots of space! The receptionists were typical receptionists and were a bit morose and unforthcoming (shame, as they are the "first faces" of the establishment) but all the nursing staff and people behind the scenes were lovely, helpful, kind and chatty. They made you feel at ease. Everything was explained very well and I felt looked after. I was very impressed with the information I was given after the procedure telling me exactly what had happened, what had been found, what medication I'd been given and how to proceed afterwards. All in all I was very pleased and based on my experience here I would definitely recommend the facility to everyone.
