"Royal Free Hospital Parking ticket"

About: Royal Free Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I am shocked and horrified to have received a £100 parking fine in the post following a very sensitive recent visit to the Royal Free Hospital

I was parked within disabled bay clearly displaying the blue badge. As my disabled wife had to take attend the Royal Free Hospital on numerous occasions and have never been penalised before.

The supposed offence is not even outlined on the parking charge letter, the notice just talks about private land and users of the car park are bound by terms and conditions etc.

Are disabled parking bays not for the use of Disabled Blue Badge Holders?

I am very distressed by this notice! and has put me and my disabled wife in difficult situation.

I would be very grateful for your assistance..

Update posted by chimpata (the patient)

Dear Ms Wood.

I have sent an email and I hope to receive a satisfactory response.

it is now very difficult for disabled patient to receive care and attend hospital appointment at RFH due to the difficult parking problems that have been imposed.
