"Staff on the ward E are not friendly at all!"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital

My husband has been admitted with malaria on the E ward and I went to visit him early in the morning at about h 7.30 to bring fresh clothes and other necessary things. The nurses were really rude saying that I was bothering oher patients when clearly I was not making any noise whatsoever. I went there just before work and there was no need to be so nasty to me when they have been waking the patients up all night for blood tests.

Thank you for giving us your feedback on your experience whilst visiting your husband at Thr Royal Hallamshire Hospital. The Trust introduced a Visitors' Code to help make sure that patients spending time in hospital are able to get enough rest, which will help with their recovery. Reducing the numbers of people coming in and out of the hospital and asking them to come at particular times of the day also helps us to control infections and help staff to do their jobs more efficiently. If you would like us to follow up the attitude of the nurse, please do contact our Patient Services Team on 0114 271 2828 or pst@sth.nhs.uk
