I am 70yrs old,fit & normally walk up to 5 miles a day.On 2 Jan 2014 i had a fall a 1am & broke my femur &pelvic. From that moment my treatment by everyone involved from the ambulance crews,A&E,Xray & the ward 3 staff treated me absolutely brilliantly. I was in surgery by 3pm-awesome. The care & treatment i received was first class even down to the physiotherapists, persevered to get me going. I was also visited by the spare equip. dept assessed & loaned equip.to help me adjust at home. Particularly i wish to thank the consultant who operated on me and his caring team- I am now 2 weeks into rehab.and getting better each day. Once more may i thank the trust for the overhaul professionalism and care extended to me
