"the whole experience was the icing on the cake for me"

last October I arrived at the delivery suite as I was expecting my second baby. I feel that I needed to give you some feedback on the care I received.

From start to finish I cannot fault any member of your staff.

My first experience at a different hospital wasn't the greatest and we were advised by friends to come to yourselves and I am so glad we did.

Our midwife Lucy was absolutely amazing and she made the whole experience as comfortable as it could be and couldn't haven't been more tentative. Because of having a previous c-section I did panic at different intervals (I was also booked in at the n&n on the following day for another section however my son beat us to it) but at every turn she could see/sense when I started to worry & panic and immediately put me at ease, it was important to me if I could carry on with a natural birth to do it and had it not been for Lucy, and of course my husband, giving me the confidence I quite honestly may have not seen it though, I cannot praise her enough. Our healthy baby boy was born early hours. As I am not planning on any more children the whole experience was the icing on the cake for me and cannot thank her enough. Please pass on my many many thanks to Lucy and of course rest of the staff on the ward that night for all of their help: -D.
