I have been suffering with severe neck pain for about 4 months but I have had problems with my neck for years. I know this is worse and different. We arrived at 10:15 for an 11 o'clock app't but even though we had disabled badge for my wheelchair bound mother in law, my partner had to drop me off in case I missed my appointment. This straight away was a problem for me I am on lots of medication and forget things. The nice volunteer took me to the orthopaedic dept where I was ignored by the 2 girls behind the desk, finally 1 acknowledged me and said I had to go to the next desk. I was surprised with such a busy waiting room that I was seen straight away, afterwards I was not surprised. The young doctor did not listen to me. He did not ask me about my long term neck problem, he seemed only fixated in the pain going into my fingers which he decided could be to do with pain in my arm even though I have had nerve release in both elbows. Yes I do have bulging discs pushing against the nerve but he felt not enough to cause my paid. He didn't even ask the pain meds I was on. I came out distraught and not believed. 5 mins after months of waiting
"don't bother going there for treatment"
