"Paediatric A&E & Ward 24"

About: Wexham Park Hospital

My son suffers with Viral induced wheeze and was taken to hospital with breathing difficulties. He was immediate addressed and treatment started within 15minutes of arriving. He has unfortunately been admitted with this condition on numerous occasions however, the care and diligence he received on this occasion was excellent and extremely well organised. The nurse on duty Sat 18th Jan in children's A&E was outstanding and practically single handily ran the department during a overwhelmingly busy period. My son was admitted and the doctors and nurses on Ward 24 once again worked tirelessly to make his recovery as swift as possible. There was a definite improvement in communication with us and his meds were given precisely on time which I'm sure helped speed up his recovery. Well done!

Thank you for taking the time to feedback about your experience relating to your son's recent A&E attendance and subsequent admission. I am pleased to hear how positive your experience of the NHS and our hospital was, and we will ensure that your kind words are fed back to the team. We hope he is recovering well.
