recently told a family member has cancer, and the reason he could not be treated was thst the operating theatre was being refurbished, this was not clearly explsined to us our GP had to find out this for us! he was appalled that if it was something serious as this they should have made other arrangements, the ent clinic withheld that information from us! i enquired at the ENT clinic why he was not referred they explained that usually when a theatre is being refurbished they are assigned a theatre in another specilist unit, this time the management decided not to do this! so nothing was done to accomodate the ENT pateints!
