I am 70 years old from Birmingham and I am temporary staying in Milwich Staffordshire, I went to Stafford hospital for a urine infection test as requested by QE hospital Birmingham, I was suffering after effects of a Cystoscopy examination 5 days earlier. Not feeling the best, all I expected was to give a sample with an infection being found and antibiotics to be prescribed. No so, from the first with the registering through to be being discharged by the doctor I was treated as a human being (and not a number), with respect. I was given a thorough examination and results explained to me in a language I could understand. When I left the hospital feeling I was walking on air, the best I have felt for some time. Thanks to all the straff of the A&E Stafford. I am sure this is the place that other hospital's A&E should send their staff to learn how the alround treatment of patients should be take place.
