"Exemplary treatment"

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

My father was recently treated in Sunrise 'B' ward for a terminal condition at Queen's hospital. The level of care he received was far beyond anything we could have hoped for. The doctors and nurses involved in his care kept us fully advised at all times of his treatment and prognosis. The ward was beautifully clean, the staff treated each other with courtesy and respect and the patients were cared for in the truest sense of the word. The nurses allocated to my father were kind and very patient with a dying gentleman and treated him with respect and gentleness. His pain was managed extremely well and he was clean, comfortable and allowed to die with dignity.

It is never an easy with the loss of a loved one and I thank you for leaving your comment about his level of care. I’m pleased that our staff treated your father with respect and gentleness, allowing him to die with dignity. Yours sincerely, Stephen Burgess Medical Director
